Author's description

Sometimes to have access to the multimedia content you have in your computer is a somewhat tedious task, mainly if you have the music, the videos and the photographs scattered throughout your hard disk.

To solve this problema and to make your PC a multimedia center, you have now an application called MediaPortal, a programme which analyzes your hard disk and puts together all the files existing in it.

As it find the files, it locates them according to predefined parameters and correctly dividing them into categories: My Music, My Pictures, My Radio, My TV, My Videos, My Weather y and My Mail.

Each of these divisions performs a different function, and appart from the basic ones (images, music and videos) it is possible to include stream signals (radio stations and TV channels), access to the email account and weather conditions.
