Cdex is an application used to extract music from a CD and save it in your computer, then you can convert it to other formats.

Cdex allows you to transfer a complete CD or only the list of musical themes chosen by you to your computer and makes it possible to convert them to a .MP3 extension (or other formats) during the same transfer process, thus making the task more agile. In this way, you will not need to create first a WAV file and then to convert it.

Other Cdex qualities worth mentioning are the following: It allows to create playing lists, it is multilanguage, it obtains and import data from CDDB (CD DataBase) and it is capable of interacting with other encoders. Besides this version has support for the conversión of WAV files bigger than 2 Gb and includes the updates for Lame Encoder y Ogg encoder.
